Warranty policy

When making a warranty claim, you have to present :

  1. The device along with the affected part thereof.
  2. The original proof of purchase (i.e the Invoice) which clearly indicates the name, address, date & place of purchase, GST Number and valid serial number in case of serialized product. Scogo Store reserves the right to refuse service for any product incase of absence of any of the above mentioned.

What is covered by this warranty ? 

This One-Year warranty support covers defects in material and workmanship in the hardware only, sold by Scogo Store on a part-by-part basis. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser

If a Covered device suffers a breakdown at any time during the term of warranty, the device will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the Scogo Store. A device containing similar features will be provided if a device of the same make & model is not available at the time the replacement is supposed to be made.

Note : Accessories & Battery have warranty coverage for upto 3 months.

What is NOT covered by this warranty ? 

  1. Software, including the operating system (if any), trial software (if any), and pre-loaded software (if any).
  2. Problems that result from external causes such as : accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power.
  3. Damages caused by liquid spillage on the device.
  4. Service not authorized by Scogo Store.
  5. Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
  6. Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
  7. Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by Scogo Store.
  8. Products with missing or altered Service Tags or serial numbers.
  9. Products for which Scogo Store has not received payment or are being disputed.
  10. Products damaged by misuse, abuse, riot, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, power failure, power reduction, telephone failure, or acts of God.
  11. Cost of installation, removal, or re-installation of this product or any component of the product.
  12. Expendable items such as batteries, toner cartridges, projector bulbs, and other operating supplies.
  13. Purely cosmetic scratches, dents, or other similar damages.
  14. Vinyl skins applied to the product or any cosmetic attributes.

What do I do if I need warranty service ? 

Before the warranty expires, please reach our Support Team. Make sure to have your Purchase Serial No. or Order No. available when you contact us.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). SCOGO STORE 'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH HEREIN. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED

WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE .
